還有一篇原汁原味的台灣布袋戲
It was a night for the puppet show. The puppet performance used to be very popular in Taiwan decades ago. It's getting less and less active like all the other tranditional performances, but there still exist many fans of the Taiwan puppet show. There was even a TV channel specially for the puppet show in Taiwan. This was actually the first time i got to know that there were foreigners coming to Taiwan for studying puppet show!!
"La Mort en Cage" was created by Gilles Debenat from France, who is currently studying puppet show in Taiwan. I was really amazed by this show. His voices, how detailed he moved the puppet and the timing with the surprise..., everything was linked perfectly. And most impressive part was that Gilles was speaking in French, but all the kids were laughing right to the cue! The whole performance even broke the obstacle of languages!!

這個小小的舞台是Gilles自己設計的 因為他很好搬運
他可以帶著這個舞台 坐著法國TGV或是台灣高鐵
到處表演給大家看
就在這小小的舞台上 驚奇的魔法一個一個施展
木偶動作每個小細節都做得活靈活現
Gilles的聲音也配得很有戲劇性
最最神奇的是全場看不懂字幕的小朋友
竟然也都笑得東倒西歪 而且都笑在對的點上!!!
And then for Taiwanese puppet show "Stupid Thief" played by 賴世安 and Lucie from France. Some cute taiwanese verses and vivid taiwanese local culture between the grandpa and the grandson was greatly presented in this show.
這一夜 最大的發現其實是
在台灣漸漸式微的布袋戲
竟然還能吸引外國人特地來台灣學習 真得很驕傲
或許透過這樣的交流 也可以讓我們有更新的藝術創作
La Mort En Cage綜合了法國黑色趣味和台灣布袋戲手法
激盪出令人驚異的戲劇效果
