Andy Warhol, Pope of Pop 普普教主

好一陣子沒有打開小宇宙的打字視窗
看著 打著 還有點不習慣!

上上個禮拜
我跟蔡小妹拜訪了高雄美術館Andy Warhol的展覽
自從聽說Andy Warhol在台北展出之後
我一直非常期待親眼瞧瞧普普風教主的作品

Pop Art 普普風
Pop Art這個名稱其實是由 Popular 普及 這個字借過來的

普普風在50~60年代興起

其中結合了民生消費中大量複製生產的概念
跟以往的古典藝術大相逕庭

我其實很喜歡普普風的作品: 活潑 簡單 亮
大量重複的圖樣還有鮮豔搶眼的色彩

有時候色彩跟底圖的圖樣衝突

有時候色彩跟色彩之間更彼此衝突

或許就是這些衝突 讓普普風產生了一種莫名其妙的活力

The signature of Andy's pop art is that he used repetitve paterns together with all the different and bold colors to produce some kind of odd but meanwhile balanced visualization. I personally like the pop style pretty much because all the colors actually bring out the energetic atmosphere. His famous art works including using the pattern of Coca Cola, the cans of Campbell's Soup and the portrait of Marilyn Monroe. Among all the art works in this exhibition my favorite is actually the painting of Coca Cola on the cover of Velvet underground's record, the one like below.

我最喜歡的是在Velvet Underground唱片上的可樂圖案
鮮豔的紅色嘴唇 慢動作般的微微張開
輕輕含住吸管 然後啜上一口可口可樂
看了真的很想現在馬上喝一口!!
那想喝可樂的貝蒂 現在也要以普普風展出囉
